The Maids NH Community
In 2014, The Maids of New England partnered with Making Strides For Breast Cancer/Boston Walk. Making Strides seemed like the perfect fit for our organization because of our involvement and passion for Cleaning For A Reason (www.cleaningforareason.org). In our first year we raised about $5,000 and put together 3 prizes for 3 contests to help boost fundraising and celebrate the women involved in raising funds for this incredible cause! It was a great success. 3 Winners with a grand Prize of 1 year of monthly home cleaning by The Maids!
2015 gave us an opportunity to get involved locally with our staff in Manchester, NH with a sponsorship of a water stop along the Making Strides walk route on October 25th.
We look forward to continuing to raising awareness and funds for Making Strides for Breast Cancer!
The MS Society is our longest charitable involvement and is a cause that hits close to home for many of our staff & clients. 2005 marked our very first walk in the City of Portsmouth NH and in 2008 we earned the Title as Top Corporate Sponsor from The MS Society of New England. Over our 10 year involvement we have raised over $40,000 towards research. In 2011, we supported our Marketing Manager as she raised funds and became a Boston Marathon Finisher for Team MS.
The Maids of Southern New Hampshire continues to walk every year in support of The MS Society.
68 hours of hunger
As a local business in North Hampton, NH since 1989 we found a great partnership with North Hampton Elementary School and collecting food & snacks for the 68 hours of hunger program. We offer pick up service for all our clients that are interested in contributing~ every year I am more amazed by the incredible generosity of our customers. Giving is contagious!
Toys For Tots
Since 2008 we have been a drop of location for Toys For Tots. We offer a toy pick up service for any of our clients that would like to donate a toy but do not have the time to drop it off~ our "elves"/Cleaning staff are always delighted to bring back toys at the end of the day during the Holiday Season!
