Time for dinner! Do you know where to find the rice? Flour? What about brown sugar or can of soup? If you need to go digging to find them, it’s time to get in there and take on one of the larger housekeeping tasks: organizing your pantry.

Group Like Items

Want to know where to find the flour? Put it with the other baking goods. When it’s time to make cookies or cakes, you’ll have everything you need at your fingertips. Likewise, put your soups together and keep your snacks together in their own place.

Use & Label Clear Containers

Never guess what’s in the unmarked mystery container in your pantry again! Use clear containers you can easily see through, and then label each one. Then, when you open the pantry, you can see everything you need at a glance without thinking twice.

Use Larger Baskets or Plastic Bins

Once you’ve got all of your containers labeled and like items grouped together, look at your smaller groups. Can any of them fit inside a basket or a plastic container? You can use the larger containers to keep the smaller things together and at your fingertips.
