Superior Home Cleaning Services in Columbus with our Unique 22-Step Healthy Touch Deep Cleaning System

What's your cleaning style? Are you someone who spaces the house cleaning out, or do you wait and do one big cleaning? Blogger Leo Babauta of Zen Habits takes a look at keeping clean by cleaning as you go, especially in the bathroom.

If cleaning gets you stressed out, take a step back and see if this will help you out!

Check Your Frequency

If you handle things as you notice them, clutter and dirt won't get out of control. If your eyes or your nose tells you that the bathroom needs cleaning, it probably does!

It's best to do this a few times a week, though; so put your powers of observation to work and look for the areas that need attention every day.

Quick Toilet Cleaning

When the toilet bowl looks like it's forming a ring, go ahead and grab your toilet brush, spray down your toilet with your favorite cleaner, and give it a quick scrub.

Alternatively, one of our favorite hints is to drop a couple of denture tablets in before you leave the house or overnight, then flushing—it will take dirt with it!

Hit the Showers

The best time to clean the showers is while you're there anyway! Right before your shower, spray it down, then rinse it clean before you get in.

To be extra safe (especially in kids' bathrooms!), use an all-natural cleaner or a mixture of vinegar and water in a spray bottle.

Everything and the Sink!

One of the places in your bathroom that gets dirtiest the fastest is actually the sink. Dirty hands, toothpaste, spilled makeup, soap, or cologne—it all ends up there!

As soon as you notice the sink or counter looking a little worse for wear, just grab your spray bottle and do a quick spray and wipe. It will only take a second and keep your sink area looking nice and clean.

Take the Floor

The floor doesn't usually need cleaning as often, but once a week you'll want to give it a quick sweep and a mop or scrub.
