Since 1989, we have had the privilege of serving the greater Seacoast of New Hampshire, and the Greater Newburyport Area of Massachusetts. Throughout the years, we have grown our business on making our organization a fun, stable and rewarding experience for our employees and it shows in the quality of the work we provide to our customers. On July 1st of 2009, we became the new owners of The Maids serving the Greater Manchester Area ~ this growth enables our office to cover over 60 communities regularly!

Peter Killheffer - Owner
When my wife Lynne and I bought The Maids in 1994, we had never been in the service business. I quickly found that it's all about people- as in employees and customers. Our team of people has built on that with a fundamental and strong commitment to doing what we say we'll do.
We deliver the high quality services our customers deserve.
Our business philosophy is that if we do well by our customers and our employees, our company will do well. That we still clean the homes of our earliest customers is something we are proud of.
Katherine Cook - General Manager
Since 1998, Katherine Cook’s leadership skills have played an important role in making the company what it is today. Katherine was first hired as Customer Service Manager and in 2000 was promoted to General Manager. In 2003, she became a partner of the franchise. She currently oversees the company’s daily operations to ensure the delivery of a professional, friendly customer experience.
Katherine grew up in Eliot, Maine and is a graduate of The University of Rhode Island. She currently resides in New Hampshire with her husband and their three children. She is an active volunteer in her community.
Jennifer Walichnowski- Marketing Manager
Jennifer began working for The Maids in November of 1997, learning The Maids cleaning process as a cleaning team member and in 1999 was promoted to Team Supervisor where she discovered her love for Customer Service! In 2000 she became Customer Service Manager, concentrating on sales and strengthening relationships with clients.
In 2003, Jenn became a partner with the business and most recently, has taken on the role of Marketing Manager. Jennifer grew up in Manchester, NH and currently resides with her family in Nottingham, NH. She is an active runner and ran with “Team MS” in The 2011 Boston Marathon.
Kristoffer Cook - Operations Manager
Kris Cook began working for The Maids of North Hampton in June, 2002. As Operations Manager, Kris provides invaluable support to our teams' quality and efficiency in the areas of routing, scheduling and equipment.
Kris is a graduate of Colby Sawyer College and currently resides in New Hampshire with his wife and their three children. He enjoys coaching his children's sports teams and is an Asst. Den Leader of his son's Cub Scout Pack.
Tara Mazzarella - Customer Service Representative
Tara started working for The Maids in March, 2003. She worked on a cleaning team for about a year before she was promoted to Customer Service Representative. In October, 2004, she took a leave from the office team to stay at home with her newborn son. She began working nights, doing laundry for the teams for about four years. Tara worked as a substitute teacher until a position opened up again in the office, where she is once more a welcome addition to the customer service team.
Tara loves being around her family, as well as her extended family of dogs, cats and hermit crabs. She also enjoys reading, writing, hiking, spending time in the mountains, and having new adventures with her son; Nate. She has a BS in Communications/Journalism from Salem State University. Tara resides in Hampton Falls, NH.
Kristina Williams - Customer Service Manager
Kristina Williams began working for The Maids in September of 2009 as a team member on a cleaning team. After her training was complete, she was promoted to an Assistant Team Leader. Kristina’s enthusiasm and attention to detail earned her the promotion to a Customer Service Representative in 2010. Kristina enjoys helping clients daily and planning company community events. She is an avid reader and enjoys her down time with great friends!
Angel Fortier - Field Manager
Angel began working for The Maids in May of 2006, becoming Master of The Maids cleaning process as a cleaning team member, Assistant Team Leader and Team Leader. In 2008, Angel was promoted to Field Manager and Branch Leader of The Maids Somersworth office. Our fantastic teams and the quality of service they provide are a direct testament to Angel's leadership skills and passion for coaching and teaching.
Angel is a loving mom to 3 grown boys, 2 of whom serve in The Military. In her down time, she is an avid runner, quilter and cross country skier. Angel currently lives in Newmarket,NH with her husband.
